Sunforce Solutions is focusing on customer solutions and knows that it takes people to listen to customers and identify their needs. Sunforce s solutions are tailored to meet these needs. Sunforce was founded by a team of uniquely experienced industry executives who recognized the opportunity to create the next generation PPA model for markets, such as Hawaii, the Pacific Rim, the USA mainland, and parts of Europe.

Guy Akasaki (Co-Founder)

Mr. Akasaki , Co Founder of Sunforce , has owned and operated a number of successful businesses in Hawaii for more than 20 years. These include Commercial Roofing and Waterproofing Hawaii Inc., a premier installer of roofs throughout the islands.

Craig M. Hunt (CEO)

Mr. Hunt, Co-Founder of Sunforce, brings over 35 years of experience in oil & gas, wind and solar projects. He has pioneered the development and utilization of PPAs as a primary financing instrument for the Solar/PV industry. Mr. Hunt has been actively involved in the energy industry since his employment with Arthur Andersen & Co in the early 1970’s as he has practiced as a CPA and Lawyer for 30 years. He is also an adjacent professor at Golden Gate University San Francisco in the Masters of Tax program.

Jens Herzog (COO)

Mr, Herzog, CoFounder of Sunforce, is a former leading KeyAccount Manager at SunTechnics Energy Systems Inc (Conergy) who has sold solar PV systems very successfully in California. Before laying the foundation for Conergy´s sales success in the USA, Mr. Herzog was a Marketing Manager with the German American Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco Branch.
He consulted German companies on trade and  market related issues focusing on the renewable energy sector in the USA. Mr. Herzog has a J.D. from the Westfälische Wilhelms Universität, Münster, Germany and is a German lawyer.

Dr. Philipp Herzog (Vice President of Finance)

Dr. Herzog, Co Founder of Sunforce, brings strong financial expertise and consulting experience for emerging PV technologies.
Prior to SFSI Dr. Herzog worked as a consultant. He advised leading international companies in the chemical and wholesale sectors on innovation and strategy. Additionally he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Business Administration at the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Münster, Germany, where his research focused on R&D innovation management, new business development and strategic management. He holds a PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) and master degree in business administration from the University of Münster, Germany.
